Has anyone heard of the brand called "SVP"?
I have a 2007 NEW SVP 12MP digital video camera add-CAMERA I've never heard of the brand? Is it good?
Sorry to say that this brand does not carry a strong reputation for quality of it. This is a low cost "Knock-off" line is made by one of the largest electronics manufacturers china a brand of low cost house that is exported to a number of brands different name (SVP is one of them.) Poor quality of construction with mediocre (at best components) will probably have you looking for a new camera at some point. My advice is to use the camera as planned the realization of the limitations of the image and build quality. When you die do not spend money on repairs (good money after bad as they say), instead of seeking a replacement brand Sony, JVC, Panasonic o. Good luck.
